At Woodstock Day School, we are pleased to offer preschool classes for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We also offer a Mother’s Morning Out program for 1 year olds.

• Class placement is based on a child's age on September 1st .
• The registration fee is non-refundable and is due with the application.
• The monthly tuition is due on the first of each month and we accept cash, check or credit card.
• Children in the 3 year old and 4 year old classes must be potty trained.

OUR STAFF

Our paid staff is composed of trained and dedicated personnel who love children. Their goal is to provide individual attention to each child. Our staff receives periodic training throughout the year and we provide CPR training as well. A Criminal Background Check is performed on each employee.

CLASS SIZE

We believe that a small class size is an important part of providing an optimal learning environment. We strive to keep the teacher-student ratios low in our classrooms. In our Mother's Morning Out program, we staff 2 teachers for 8 children, and in our 2 year old classes, the ratio is 2 teachers for 10 children. Our 3 and 4 year old classes have a 1 to 10 teacher/student ratio.

CURRICULUM

We use an excellent curriculum in each classroom that is child-centered, based on the use of learning centers in the classroom. A child's growth and development is viewed as a process, not an event. Our curriculum provides arange of activities, designed to meet the needs of thechild at their level of development along the growthcontinuum. The curriculum is developed aroundthemes that provide opportunities for children to learnabout God's world and how to live in it. Activities whichembrace physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual development are included under each theme topic.
